DENTNet supports the Polkadot Ledger App. You can use the DENTNet Dashboard and other tools directly with a supported Browser like Google Chrome, and the latest Polkadot Ledger app to send assets or start Staking.
You need a Ledger device (www.ledger.com). Only use genuine devices. Install the latest firmware on your Ledger with the Ledger Live software.
To reach the latest firmware version of your Ledger device, you might need to run the firmware update multiple times. After the firmware update, check the Ledger Live software to see if there is still an update available.
To access DENTNet with your Ledger, install the official Polkadot Ledger app on your device. You can do this by searching on Ledger Live for "Polkadot". The latest version of the Polkadot App is compatible with DENTNet and supports all transactions. You need a minimum version number of 100 for the Polkadot app.
If you don't see version 100 or later on Ledger Live, check for further firmware updates of your Ledger.
To connect the Ledger, open the Polkadot app on your device and connect the Ledger to your PC/Mac.
Then, open the Dashboard in a supported browser, such as Google Chrome. On the top right of the screen, click the "Connect" button. Select "Ledger" as the wallet on the next screen.
Follow the instructions in your browser to access the device via USB. Once connected, you can import the accounts from your Ledger to the Dashboard. After importing, select the account you want to use now.
Once an account is selected, you can use your Ledger directly to send DENT or DENTX, Stake, or swap DENT to DENTX. Buying DENT or DENTX is also possible with the connected Ledger wallet.
Initiate the transaction on your browser by using the specific functions on the Dashboardand confirm it on your Ledger when the transaction appears there.
When you want to connect your Ledger or sign a transaction, make sure you unlock your Ledger, and open the Polkadot app.
When sending or swapping DENT tokens, the asset and amount shown on Polkadot Ledger app is not correct. For example, when sending 1 DENT, it shows 0.0000000001 DENTX.
